 Hamfest 2009

Saturday July 25th 2009

Counting down to Hamfest 2009: 2009-7-25 00:00:00 GMT-05:00!

Call in frequency of 147.315 ( tone 136.5) or 444.300 ( tone 136.5) repeaters.

Located in the city park on the North side of Clear Lake. We have many camp site
for you to stay at. There is power at some of the sites. RV or tents welcome.
Bring a friend to enjoy the day. Prizes giving away later in day. Small door
prizes giving away through out the day.

We have showers and a swimming pool.
There is a shelter for dinning and relaxing.

Below is a map pointing to the city park.

Coming from WEST of Clear Lake
Take Hwy 22 from the west into Clear Lake and make a left at the 4 way stop.
Go through town until you are almost out of town.
On your left will be the city park.

Coming from South of Clear Lake
Take I29 till you get to Toronto exit. Take a right there on Hwy 28 till you get to
Hwy 15 north intersection. Turn left (only way or turn into gravel)
and head north until you get to Clear Lake. Go through town until you are
almost out of town. It will be on the left side of the road.

Coming from EAST of Clear Lake
Take Hwy 22 till you get to Clear Lake. At the 4way stop make a right.
Go through town until you are almost out of town.
It will be on the left side of the road.

Coming from North of Clear Lake
Take Hwy 15 till you get just out side of Clear Lake.
Off to your right will be the City park. We will be there.

Campers are welcome to enter the park anytime during the
week and enjoy the outdoors.

Play ground for the kids, swimming pool, volley ball
horse shoes or just  RELAX

8:00 AM AM Breakfast  Served

10:00 AM  Flea Market opens

12:00 Noon Meal Served   

1:00 PM to be determined activities

2:00 PM VE Testing

2:00 PM How-To's and Demonstrations

3:00 PM to be determined activities

        4:00 PM Grand prize drawing

6:00 PM Cook out

9:00 PM Fireside Rag-chew

Saturday morning breakfast morning.
VE Testing and noon meal is served in shelter.


What hams do on nice days.

 
Flea market tables setup outside and inside. Wonderful afternoon
of trading and finding goodies.

  

 
Entertainment with some music.



 



 
Camp sites available.

Some start showing up as early as Thursday so come early to reserve your spot.
The City's fee is $10 per night as of July 2006.

Lots of room so enjoy the nightlife and rag chewing.
